It’s a meeting of demigod minds that’ll leave you with great anticipation of what’s to come in Percy Jackson and the Olympians!

Best Scene in Episode 2: Percy Jackson in Sword Fight

In Episode 2: I Become Supreme Lord of the Bathroom – the sword fighting scene is extremely impressive!

Percy Jackson Sword Fighting Scene

Percy’s first sword fighting scene is a heart-pounding thrill ride as our hero faces off against opponents with lightning-fast moves. Sparks fly as swords clash, and the tension is palpable as Percy uses all his wits and skill to come out on top.

Best Scene in Episode 3: Fury on Bus

Hold onto your seats for Episode 3: We Visit the Garden Gnome Emporium in Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

What makes this scene even better is the Star Wars clone scene soon after, where you get to see Percy Jackson having a Luke Skywalker moment.

Best Scenes in Episode 5: Ares, God of War

Episode 5: A God Buys Us Cheeseburgers – Picture this: Ares, the tough-as-nails God of War, zooming down a deserted highway on his badass motorcycle. Meanwhile, our trusty demigods are trudging along on foot. It’s a moment that’ll give you serious goosebumps!

Ares may not be the most lovable guy around, but there’s no denying the power and mystery he brings to the table.

Adam Copeland plays Ares in Percy Jackson and the Olympians. He offers to help Percy, Annabeth, and Grover on their quest – but, of course, there’s a catch. The trio must retrieve his shield from the Tunnel of Love in a creepy abandoned Waterland. Sounds like a wild ride, right?

As Percy and Annabeth dive into the task, things quickly go south. They get tossed out of the boat ride and into the water, proving that this mission is no walk in the park.

But hold onto your helmets, because Ares isn’t just stirring the pot between his family members. He’s got his hands on some serious power – and there’s a mysterious force pulling his strings from behind the scenes.

This scene will have you glued to the TV screen as things are about to get even more chaotic! It’s easily one of the best scenes in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Best Scene in Episode 6: Lotus Casino

In Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief movie (2010), you see a Maserati in the casino, which uses the symbol of Poseidon’s trident as its car badge.

In Percy Jackson and the Olympian TV series (2023), you see a Lotus vehicle.

Lotus Casino

The lotus eaters were a group of island-dwellers in Greek mythology who were notorious for their love of indulgence and relaxation. These laid-back lotus eaters spent their days lounging in fields of lotus flowers and munching on the magical, addictive lotus fruit.

But here’s where things get interesting – the lotus fruit had a hypnotic effect on anyone who ate it, causing them to forget their troubles and responsibilities, and instead become blissfully lost in a dreamlike state of euphoria. This led to many unfortunate sailors and travelers becoming stranded on the lotus eaters’ island, unable to tear themselves away from the delicious fruit and carefree lifestyle.

In the TV show, similar to the movie, the Lotus casino turned out to be like the ultimate vacation spot for anyone who walked through its doors – except for our cool dude, Hermes. See, once people stepped inside the casino, they were instantly hooked on the Lotus’ vibes, zoning out and forgetting all about their real-world problems. It was like a magical spell that made them totally chill and carefree.

The scenes involving the Lotus casino in the TV series were quite different to the film and it was hard to guess where things were going. Overall, it was pretty cool!

I liked how they had the song “I Ran (so Far Away)” playing in the background. That’s the same song that plays in the Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac anime TV series, which was dubbed for US audiences. The Knights of the Zodiac were protectors of the Greek Goddess, Athena.

Best Scenes in Episode 7: Meeting Procrustes in the Mattress Shop

Episode 6: We Find Out the Truth, Sort Of – Picture this: Percy Jackson enters a mattress shop where he meets Procrustes. What’s he doing there?

And then hold onto your hats! In this Percy Jackson and the Olympians scene, things turn climactic when Grover finds himself teetering on the edge of disaster. The flying shoes he’s wearing cause chaos as they send him careening towards a dark abyss. But never fear, Percy Jackson swoops in to save the day!

It’s a heart-stopping moment that’ll have you on the edge of your seat – or in Grover’s case, the edge of a cliff.

Best Scene in Episode 8: Olympus

Episode 8: The Prophecy Comes True – shows Percy Jackson entering Olympus where he meets Zeus, the king of the Gods! Who doesn’t love seeing dreamlike scenes of Olympus?

Olympus Scene

One big surprise in this scene for me was Lance Reddick’s portrayal of Zeus. which I didn’t see coming.

I quickly recognised the actor from John Wick movies, but never expected to see him playing Zeus, king of the Gods! Sadly, Lance’s role as Zeus is also posthumous. The actor passed away in March just after wrapping up production in February 2023, leaving fans wondering who will step into those godly shoes for future seasons. Let the casting rumors begin!

Percy Jackson TV Series Recommendation & Rating

A little while after the final show pf Percy Jackson and the Olympians (Season 1) premiered, the TV show had a solid IMDb rating of 7.2/10 from 30K reviewers (in Feb 2024), it’s clear that the TV show has made its mark in the world of entertainment with many fans of the show.
