Luggage Fee: To make your stay more comfortable, it’s advisable to arrange for someone to help carry your luggage down many steps. This service typically comes with a small fee. I payed 50,000 Indonesian Rupiah — which was a worthwhile investment for a much more relaxed experience. The worst part was feeling very sorry for the person who carried the luggage.

Satriya’s lush gardens and warm Balinese décor plunged me into the heart of local life, whereas Casa Artista felt devoid of any authentic cultural essence.
